About Me

My photo
Coach Smith
Great teams are built and made between November and March, great players are made between April and October! As a player, I was fortunate to have some outstanding coaches who taught me that if I wanted to be a great player and obtain my goal of playing football or basketball in university, then I needed to put the time into working out and developing my skills in the off-season. Coaches want to work with players who are DEDICATED, COMMITTED, and DRIVEN in their sport(s), to their skill development, and to their TEAM! An athlete needs to possess an inner drive and the desire to put that extra time in to working-out and striving to be successful. "Basketball is the most difficult sport to leave for a period of time and then return to with the expectation that the shooting and dribbling touch will still be in tact - it won't!" (C. Stewart). Whether your a young player at the Middle School, or a senior in high school, there is much to be gain from attending basketball camps and a good off-season workout schedule.
